Of course! We actually encourage and recommend you to join along on one of our group trips solo! You will never feel alone, as you'll have the chance to meet other amazing individuals who will be attending and get a chance to get to know more about them before the actual trip takes place!

 

"What if I sign up after the payment due date(s)?" 

 

No problem! If the trip package has spots left or is open, you can still sign up by booking today and making your trip deposit. Depending on when you sign up, your selected payment plan may be adjusted to help you continuously budget and finance your trip. For which will be paid directly through our site.

AFTER SIGNING UP for this trip

1. Trip Confirmation Form

Once you've made your trip deposit, you will receive a link to fill out the trip confirmation form, select your preferences, and more. Receive confirmation within 48 hours of submitting the form. 

2. Updates & Reminders

Receive updates regarding the trip and upcoming payments via LDTG text, you will then be added to either the trip group page/ chat within a given timeframe before the trip (usually within 3 - 5 months out)

3. Connect Before Your Trip

As the trip approaches, trip members have the opportunity to partake in scheduled group calls, which allows everyone to meet & acquaint each other, and the travel host, beforehand!

+ Arrival & Departure Airport: CAI (Cairo) International Airport. 

  • Plan on traveling the day before to arrive on the first day of the trip. Please do not pick any other airports. 

 

+ Currency: Egyptian Pound (EGP)

  • Some establishments accept major credit cards, however carrying cash is advised for shopping locally and tipping. Click here to learn more about different ways to conduct currency exchange

+ Visa Required? Yes. Visa can be obtained on arrival at Cairo Internation Airport, or you can apply for an e-visa (obtained online) for a single-entry visit, which is valid for up to 30 days.

+ COVID Test/ Vaccination Required? No, COVID testing and vaccination are not required to travel to this destination.

  •  COVID-19 vaccination is not required/ mandatory to join our group trips.

  • + Domestic Flight to/ from Cairo to (Luxor/ Aswan) are included in the pricing of this trip. However, international flights are not included. You are responsible for obtaining your own flight to/from Cairo International Airport

  • + Weather: 70°  (high)/ 50° F (low)  with little to no rain making it the perfect time to explore and roam the many pyramids and temples.

  • TIPS & RECOMMENDATIONS

  • + Suggested Arrival Time: Arrive in Cairo at CAI airport by 6 pm on Day 1 of the trip in time to prepare for the welcome dinner

  • + Suggested Departure Time: Given that we'll be flying back to Cairo from the Nile Cruise on the last day, we highly recommend booking your return flight for either an afternoon or early evening departure. There are no scheduled activities on the last day.

  • ​

  • + Utilize accommodation check-in time as a guide when booking your flight.

  • + It is highly recommended to purchase travel insurance. Click here to view a list of recommended travel insurance. You may also be able to obtain travel insurance easily upon booking your flight

  • + What to wear? Loose pants, jeans, knee-length and long dresses, knee-length skirts, jumpsuit, comfortable shoes, and sneakers are highly recommended throughout the trip. Biker shorts, regular shorts & leggings are other clothing options allowed for full-day activities (i.e. Desert Safari), along with a t-shirt. Having a scarf/scarves, and hat is highly recommended for outdoor activities to protect you from sun and wind.
