DAY 1
WELCOME TO Salvador, Bahia!
Welcome to Salvador, Bahia! Where rhythm, history, and coastal beauty come together. Upon arrival, enjoy a private airport transfer to the hotel before meeting the group for your first evening in the city.
Tonight, enjoy a welcome dinner along with your travel host and fellow trip members, step into your first experience of Salvador with a relaxed evening exploration through Barra and the Historic Center, complete with a welcome caipirinha toast to begin the journey! It’s the perfect introduction to the city’s lights, energy, culture, and vibrant atmosphere as you get ready to embark on this immersive journey.
Kindly Note: Based on everyone’s arrival time, this evening’s experience may occur on a different night to ensure everyone is able to partake! However, the welcome dinner is to remain.
DAY 2
Explore
Today, Bahia reveals its natural beauty. Set out on a scenic boat experience to Ilha dos Frades, one of the region’s most stunning and preserved tropical islands.
Spend the day surrounded by crystal-clear waters, white sand beaches, and peaceful coastal scenery while enjoying time to swim, relax, disconnect, and fully soak in the beauty of Brazil’s coastline. Enjoy lunch as well! Then return to Salvador in the evening feeling refreshed and renewed.
DAY 3
DISCOVER
Dive deeper into Salvador’s cultural heart with a guided experience through the Historic Center and the colorful streets of Pelourinho. Throughout the day, discover the city’s rich Afro-Brazilian heritage, history, traditions, and everyday life while exploring one of Brazil’s most culturally significant destinations.
After group lunch, continue the experience with a hands-on Bahian cooking class where local flavors and culinary traditions come to life in an authentic and immersive way.
DAY 4
UNWIND
Today is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Relax and recharge at the hotel, revisit your favorite areas of the city, explore local beaches and cafés, or enjoy optional experiences available throughout Salvador.
In the evening, experience another side of the city as Salvador comes alive through music, nightlife, rhythm, and Black cultural expression for an unforgettable night out alongside your travel host and trip members!
DAY 5
UNCOVER
Experience one of the most meaningful moments of the journey with a visit to Quilombo Kaonge, a community rooted in resilience, heritage, and Afro-Brazilian traditions. This immersive cultural experience offers the opportunity to connect through storytelling, local customs, traditions, and authentic community interaction.
Enjoy a traditional lunch while learning more about the history, lifestyle, and cultural legacy that continue to shape the region today. The day concludes with a vibrant samba presentation before returning to the hotel in the afternoon.
