  • Update: As of July 3, 2023, Liz-Desir Travel Group no longer requires trip members to conduct and provide COVID test results before a trip. If you have any questions regarding this, email info@lizdesirtravelgroup.com 

  • As of June 12th 2022, the United States no longer requires  COVID-19 Testing  from International destinations to be conducted before flight departure to the United States. This applies to citizens, regardless of vaccination status, including non-citizens. However, Non-U.S. citizens are still required to provide proof of full vaccination before traveling to the United States. Entry requirements will be revised in September 2022.  

  • What is the capacity for each trip package?
    It varies; maximum trip capacity will be anywhere between 6 and 10 people. LDTG wants to make sure each trip is personable, and everyone gets the best attention and experience. If you like small-group settings, then our group trips are perfect for you!
  • Can I come solo? Can I tag along with a friend, or family member?"
    Yes! You can definitely come solo, and you won't be alone because you will be with a group of women who are also joining. If you have a friend/family member that wants to come as well, you guys are welcome to join! Just be aware that trip package costs are per person, so you must both complete and submit your trip deposits and state each other's name in the appropriate field upon submitting the trip confirmation form. Also, most of the group trips are curated for women, however there may be group trips that are All-Gender trips.
  • Are the trip packages gender specified?
    Trip packages are mainly curated for women travel. However, in the cases there is a trip package that is "All-Gender", then you're welcome to sign up for that specific trip (if unable to join our women-only trips)
  • What is the age requirement?
    20 years old and over, as long as you're 20 years old & older, you're welcome to use all available services, including trip packages. Our trips are open to all age ranges (with a minimum age requirement of 20). Kindly note that some trip packages may only be available to individuals who are 21+ based on the destination.
  • Who is "restricted" from attending certain trips?"
    Those who aren't able to participate in most of the activities listed (i.e, if you're pregnant, have a severe health issue, limited mobility). Visit the terms & conditions to find out more.
  • Can I attend a specific trip I'm interested in even though I'm a non-swimmer?
    Yes! Most definitely.
  • Are the services available internationally?
    Sadly, services are only available to those from the U.S. and Canada (citizens, and residents). However, services may expand soon, so make sure to subscribe and stay updated.
  • Is this a legit business?
    Yes, Liz-Desir Travel Group is a legit business and registered as an LLC. All payments will be made to the business to provide service. ​
  • How much for a consultation?
    Consultation is FREE.99. However, only request a consultation if you have a set of questions or very interested in a specific group trip, or private trip service.
  • Is there a payment plan option for trip packages?
    Yes, there are two standard options, a 3-month and 6-month plan. Whichever works best for you is fine. There's also a "pay in full option" as well. If you would like a specialized payment plan (bi-weekly, weekly, etc.), contact us. Also, depending on your chosen payment plan and when you sign up, payment may be adjusted so that you may complete payments before the trip.
  • Can I sign up now and pay my deposit later?
    No, deposits are due upon reserving your spot and booking via our website. After making your deposit, you will have access to the trip confirmation form and provide more details. Monthly payments can be made by trip payment due date or adjusted/personalized payment date in the cases you sign up after the first payment date. Manual payments are made via our website, automated payments are generally issued through an invoice sent via email. You can choose your preferred payment type upon filling the trip confirmation form.
  • What if I missed the deposit deadline, but there's still space left?"
    You can still sign-up and reserve your spot! You'll be submitting your trip form and deposit via our website directly. Any adjusted monthly payment will be made via our website through an adjusted/personalized payment plan. All trips are first come, first serve.
  • I signed up for a trip package but have trouble making a monthly payment, what do I do?"
    We will gladly work with you on this, please email us, preferably two days before payment due date so that we can work on a payment date that works best for you and eases your monthly trip payments. Also, potentially avoid late fees. Please note: Failure to contact us or notify us via text or email for a long period of time can result in removal from the trip without refund eligibility.
  • How does payment work?
    Trip deposit and monthly payments are all made online through our secure site: Click here to access Trip Payment Portal You'll be able to pay the amount(s) with any debit/credit card or via PayPal. Another form of payment excluding trip deposit is an emailed invoice which allows you to pay via invoice. Thus, online payment is our primary method. You will be reminded within 10-15 days of your trip payment due date via text, so no need to worry about forgetting. We got you! Please note: Automated payment option is also available, you can choose this option if you'd like upon filling the trip confirmation form. If you originally opted for a manual option and would like to switch to automated payment option, please email us (info@lizdesirtravelgroup.com) Must be an LDTG Travel Community Member and have an LDTG account to access trip payment pages.
  • I created an LDTG Account but still haven't been approved membership access, why?"
    Only trip attendees gain access to membership account and are approved once requested. If you've made a trip deposit, and it's been over 72hrs (3 days) since your site request, please contact us via email, WhatsApp, or social media (Facebook/ Instagram), and we will get to it right away. If you haven't booked a trip package and signed up for an LDTG account, it will not be approved.
  • Do I need a visa?
    It depends where we'll be heading. However, LDTG will let you know if you need a visa for that country or not. Any visa requirement is also noted on our group trip pages in the additional information section.
  • Do I need vaccination for a trip?
    We recommend you to contact your physician and conduct your own research on which vaccine or medication you might need for whichever trip you pick. Sometimes you may not, however, we strongly suggest you contact your doctor for more information and to make sure that all of your required vaccines are up to date.
  • I sent an email and haven't heard back!
    If this ever happens, please email us again or direct message @ldtravelgroup via Instagram, @lizdesirtravelgroup on Facebook, or WhatsApp Liz-Desir Travel Group, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible (during operating hours).
  • What is double occupancy, and how does it work?"
    Double occupancy means that you'll be sharing a room with another individual. Depending on the trip location and property, you may either be placed in a room with two beds or one king-size bed. You will have the opportunity to learn more about other trip attendees before traveling, which you will then be placed in a room with. If you're traveling with a friend or family member, please do let us know on the form so that we may automatically pair you.
  • How is rooming for All Gender Trips?
    You will be paired with someone of the same gender if you've signed up as someone joining the trip alone. You will have the opportunity to get to know all group members before the trip, which will help in room pairing. If you sign up and note that you are joining with someone of the opposite or same sex, you will automatically be roomed together unless communicated otherwise.
  • Is there a chance to opt for a single room?
    Certain trip packages will mention the ability to be placed in a single room for an extra cost. However, not all trip packages may offer this option. Single rooms may either be limited or available to all attendees, depending on the property. You will have the ability to automatically opt for a single room upon filling a trip confirmation form, after reserving your spot. Availability of single room is first come, first served.
  • Why is single occupancy an additional charge?
    When you choose single occupancy, you'll be provided your own private room and bathroom -- basically your own space throughout the trip. In order to reserve the room, you have to pay the additional charge alongside each monthly payment. Single occupancy is provided with either double-bed, extra-double bed, queen bed or king-size bed. Single Occupancy room payment may either be a one-time payment, which is generally not included in general monthly trip payments/ personalized payment plan. OR the single room payment will be spread throughout each trip payment (eligible w/ 2024 trips and beyond)
  • Do I have to participate in every activity on the trip package list?
    No, you do not have to. However, you do still have to pay the full price.
  • What type of accommodation will we be offered or staying in throughout trip?
    You will usually stay in 4-star, 5-star luxury hotels. Oftentimes you will be staying in private properties or villas with private services. It truly depends on the location. LDTG has made sure to specify what kind of accommodation you'll be staying in throughout your stay. You will be notified if any changes occurs.
  • Is flight also included in LDTG trip packages?
    No, flight booking is not included in LDTG trip packages. However, we do provide flight booking assistance, which is already included in trip package cost. If you would like some advisement or direction when it comes to booking your flight, please email info@lizdesirttravelgroup.com
  • Are there payment plans for flights too?
    Belive or not, yes there is! Affirm partners with third-party flight booking sites like Priceline, JustFly, Cheap-O-Air, to make this a possibility. Different monthly payment options available! Click here to find out more.
  • Where to find flight deals?
    There are plenty of websites: Kayak, Expedia, Priceline, Orbitz, Hotwire, Skyscanner, JustFly to name a few. Hopper is a great app to use to track air flight prices as well. Make sure to check those out and compare prices. However, nothing beats getting a flight from the airline directly. It is safer, and you have access to direct airline services.
  • Do I need travel insurance?
    It is highly recommended to purchase travel insurance mainly when going abroad, you never know what might happen, so it's best to be covered.
  • Travel Insurance Recommendations?
    Below are a list of top recommended travel insurances. Please sometimes note, airline companies offer travel insurance add-on upon booking flight. However, in the cases they may not, or you prefer getting travel insurance separately, below is a list of top suggested travel insurance companies: Allianz Travel Travel Safe World Nomads AIG Travel Guard ​ Please Note: All insurances listed are highly recommended and may offer some COVID coverages! We strongly recommend and advise that you purchase travel insurance, mainly when traveling abroad and during this time, as it can cover certain unexpected circumstances. ​
  • How will I get constant updates concerning my upcoming trip?
    You'll be added to a private group page via our website or group chat by creating an LDTG account right after submitting deposit and after filling your trip confirmation form. You'll initially be added to the group page/ group chat 4 - 6 months before the trip takes place. Prior to getting added to the group page/ chat, you will receive updates and reminders via LDTG text message. Through the private group page, you will meet other trip attendees, comment, like, and make posts via the page as well. Additionally, receive periodic updates and tips concerning your trip. As a trip date approaches, you will be added to a WhatsApp group for easy communication.
  • What if I have a food allergy? Or dietary restrictions?
    If you have a food allergy, please notify LDTG, and specify what you're allergic to so that we can make sure you do not encounter this problem. Also, notify or specify to LDTG if you do in fact have any dietary restriction when filling the trip confirmation form or via email
  • Will there be some free time during the trip?
    Yes, you will have the opportunity to explore on your own or with another individual during the trip. You may also use your free time to relax & stay-in. Free time blocks will be displayed in an in-detail itinerary 2-4 weeks before the trip.
  • When will I receive the full itinerary for the trip?
    You'll be receiving the in-detail itinerary about 2 - 4 weeks before your departure.
  • How to handle or go-about currency exchange?
    There are different ways, check out different options below: 1. Contact your bank 3-4 weeks before your trip to let them know that you will be abroad. 2. Look for a currency exchange service, near you. 3. Exchange money while on your trip 4. Use bank ATMs to retrieve money while abroad Liz-Desir Travel Group might recommend you money exchange locations and Bank ATMs abroad, also highly recommends that you take out a reasonable amount for any personal expenses that only accept cash.
  • What if I want to transfer from one trip to another?
    Sometimes you change your mind about where you want to go, this can happen 😄, therefore you can transfer from one trip to another if your initial trip, and request, is made no less than 75 days away from the time you make this request. All payments, excluding the initial deposit, taxes & fees, as these are nontransferable, will be transferred to your new trip in this case. A new trip deposit may have to be submitted. Kindly Note: Trip transfer requests made 0 - 59 days before the initial trip takes place will be ineligible to transfer payment to another trip given that payments and reservations that have been solidified with our third-party vendors, and partners.
  • Are trip package payments refundable?
    The deposit is non-refundable. If you submit your deposit via our website and are deemed ineligible, or an error occurs, the deposit will be refunded after contacting you. However, for any other reason, the deposit is non-refundable, no exceptions and will not become an LDTG travel credit in this case. For any other payment (after the deposit, please see the refund policy below): - Refund of the first to last payment made (minus deposit and charged taxes & fees, as we do not hold those fees) will be issued if trip cancellation and refund has been requested at least 60 days before the scheduled trip. Cancellation must be within reason. - Any refund request made 0 - 59 days before the scheduled group trip will not be accepted. No refund will be issued with cancellation within this timeframe. Kindly note that this refund policy applies to Pay-In-Full, 3-month, 6-month payment plan, and any other specialized payment plan, whether manual or automated. The trip deposit and all taxes and fees charged alongside each trip payment are non-refundable. If you've failed to communicate with us in regard to refund request and missed payment deadline(s) without any form of communication for an extensive period of time. You will be removed from the trip and won't be eligible to receive a refund or LDTG Travel Credit.
  • What if something happens and trip results in a cancellation?
    In the cases of a national emergency or unforeseen circumstance that causes LDTG to cancel a trip: ​ 1. You will have the option of transferring your LDTG travel credit to any other trip package of your choice that is available, taxes and fees excluded. Thus, you will have first priority on which trip package you would like to transfer your travel credit to. Email info@lizdesirtravelgroup.com at the earliest to notify. ​ 2. We understand oftentimes things happen, therefore you will be eligible for a refund in this case for any amount paid after the deposit. Your deposit will in turn become your LDTG travel credit for which you can apply to any future trip package of your choice that is available for you to chose from. Your LDTG credit will be kept safe and once you're ready to transfer your available credit, simply email info@lizdesirtravelgroup.com or use your personal travel credit code at checkout. Please note: Your refund will also be based on third party vendor policies, which may result in a refund (excluding your travel credit, taxes and fees) or partial refund (excluding your travel credit, taxes and fees). Taxes and fees are nontransferable and nonrefundable. ​ DO NOTE THAT THIS ALSO APPLIES TO COVID-19 RELATED MATTERS!   • What measures will be/are taken concerning COVID-19
    Liz-Desir Travel Group has strategically organized the number of people that can attend each trip. All properties and hotel rooms are properly and thoroughly cleaned, and third-party vendors have set new rules. We will be following guidelines given to us throughout the trip to stay safe, and still have a great time. Face-masks and hand sanitizer will be made available to you if needed by the time of the trip. Also, in the cases that the trip has to be canceled, or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, you have the right to request a refund OR transfer credit to another trip package that is still available for sign-ups.   • What if I test positive for COVID-19 before the trip?
    You will have the chance and be eligible to pick any other trip package available for sign-ups or have your amount credited for the following year. Please note that you will either have to pay the difference, if any, or you may be refunded any additional amount minus the taxes and fees. In the cases some of your funds could not be replenished from your original chosen trip due to booking(s) already made, we will contact you.
  • What if I test positive for COVID-19 during the trip?
    Sometimes the unfortunate can happen and therefore in these cases we strongly advise obtaining travel insurance right after booking your flight because it insures your trip and some travel insurances provide specific COVID-19 travel coverage. Our company does not provide coverage and is not responsible in these cases. Thus, our company values your health and safety, and therefore we work hard to minimize these chances. We will never attempt to put you in harm's way therefore in the cases the host country is not doing well with COVID, the trip will be canceled, and you will be eligible for a trip transfer/refund.   • Which trip packages does Liz-Desir Travel Group require trip attendees to take the COVID-19 test prior to travel?
    *UPDATE* As of July 3, 2023, Liz-Desir Travel Group no longer requires trip members to conduct a COVID Test before a trip.
  • What if my country/ state requires me to do testing prior to travel date to go back home?
    *As of June 2022 the United States no longer requires U.S. citizens, U.S. residents, or U.S. immigrants to conduct a COVID-19 PCR or Antigen test to travel to any state in the United States of America*
  • Is travel/medical insurance really that important?

  • Does Liz-Desir Travel Group monitor cases and travel advisory?
    Most definitely! This is how we determine within 6 - 12 weeks of trip date if the trip is still set to occur or otherwise. We will always prioritize your health and safety. Therefore, we stay up to date by keeping posted on the World Health Organization (WHO) and Center for Disease Control (CDC) travel advisory and updates. We take policies abroad very seriously as well as any strict policies set that may cause significant changes to travel, therefore we take multiple factors into consideration prior to the trip.
  • What if a trip is cancelled or interrupted due to COVID-19?
    You will be notified 6-12 weeks before trip dates concerning any changes, necessary updates, or trip cancellation due to COVID-19 and its effects in the home country and/or host country. Even after this window of time, we will keep a lookout for any sudden changes prior to trip departure. If we feel as if it is not safe, the trip will be cancelled or postponed. You are then eligible to: 1. Transfer your LDTG credit to any other trip package of your choice, that you are eligible for. Your LDTG credit can also be transferred to any future trip. You will have first priority on any trip package of your choosing, however all trip package spacing is first come, first served, so it is your responsibility to notify us at the earliest. ​ 2. You are eligible for a refund of your trip package, after the deposit. Your deposit then become an LDTG travel credit towards any future trip package of your choosing. This applies to 3-month, 6-month, pay in full payment plans, and any other specified, specialized, or personalized payment plan requests and options.   • What are Membership Badges?
    Membership badges are awarded to each Travel Community Member that signs up for a group trip. There are 5 different levels based on group trip participation and referrals. Level 1: Member and Member+ Level 2: Explorer and Explorer+ Level 3: Silver TCM and Silver TCM+ Level 4: Gold TCM Level 5: Platinum TCM
  • What if I've referred a friend prior to the launch of the referral program?
    If you are an LDTG TCM and already referred a family/ friend(s) prior to the launch of the referral program, you will receive your LDTG Referral Discount Code via email. Feel free to also email info@lizdesirtravelgroup.com to provide the full name of the person you've referred, and the trip they've attended last year or will be attending this year! Referral code will expire May 2023 for all referrals made prior to the launch of the LDTG referral program.
  • I've referred a friend and did not receive a code yet, what should I do?"
    If you've referred a family/ friend, and they've made their group trip deposit, click here to fill the form or email info@lizdesirtravelgroup.com. If you are eligible, the code will be sent to you via email as soon as possible.
  • How many people can I refer?
    You can refer up to 6 people within one calendar year.
  • When does the referral code expire once it's issued?
    The referral code will expire 15 months after the first code is initially issued. For example, if you refer someone in May 2022, the code will expire in August 2023. If you refer another person in September 2022, the code will still expire in August 2023.
  • I've referred someone, what happens next?"
    Once the person you've referred makes a deposit for a group trip, and deemed eligible, you will soon afterwards receive an email with the referral code to use towards any current or future payment. The code must be used by the given *expiration date. Learn more here

  • What is the LDTG Referral Program?
    The LDTG referral program is available to all Travel Community Members who refer a family/ friend to join a group trip or eligible service and get rewarded up to $50 per referral!
  • Do I need to be an LDTG Travel Community Member in order to receive a referral discount?
    Yes, you must be an LDTG TCM by the time that you refer a family/friend to a group trip and/or eligible service in order to receive referral discount.
  • How many people can I refer?
    There's generally no limit! However, you can refer up to 6 people within one calendar year in order to get a referral discount.
  • I've referred a friend and did not receive a code yet, what should I do?"
    If you've referred a friend, and they've made their group trip deposit, click here to fill the form or email info@lizdesirtravelgroup.com. If you are eligible, the code will be sent to you via email as soon as possible.

  • What is Private Trip Consulting?
    Private Trip Consulting is a service that helps individuals and groups plan their trip to any international destination they will be travelling to or wish to travel to for their own private trip outside LDTG Group trips. It is similar to trip planning, however through our consulting services we provide suggestions and options that best fit what you're looking for, and your budget. We provide direct booking links as well as other resources and tips to help you plan and prep your trip with ease!   • What are the different Private Trip Consulting services offered?

  • Who is eligible to use this service?
    Any adult ages 18+. The person booking any available private Trip consulting service must meet the minimum age requirement. All genders can book private trip consulting services.
  • Is the pricing for each service a flat rate or per person charge?
    The pricing for each Private Trip Consulting Service is a flat rate. This means that if you are traveling solo, for instance, that is the flat rate to fulfill the requested service. The rate also remains the same if you are traveling with up to 10 people. You can internally split the charge of the service with your group. However, a one-time payment must be submitted upon filling out the PTC form, and it must be done by one person, most likely the point person booking the service.
  • What is the maximum group size?
    Maximum group size is 10 people. We might not be able to offer service for group sizes 10+. If so, an additional fee will be requested after booking the service of your choosing.
  • How do I book a consultation call?
    If you would like to schedule a consultation, call after you book a service package, email info@lizdesirtravelgroup.com. You will receive different date and time options to set up a consultation call. Please note that this must be requested before your personalized document is finalized and sent to you. So it is best to request a consultation call at the beginning, once you've booked the service.
  • What is the turnaround time for each service package?
    The turnaround time varies! It can take anywhere from 3 to 21 business days based on which service you book. It can sometimes take longer based on the order the request was received. So, we encourage you to book the service of your choosing months in advance of your scheduled private trip.
  • Can I use my LDTG Travel Credit to book a PTC service?
    No, discount codes, referral codes, and Liz-Desir Travel Group Travel Credit codes do not apply to PTC services. However, you may use it towards any available group trip package deposit and/or payments. 2024 Group Trips
  • Once I receive the document, may I share it with others?
    No, sharing content in the document and the document itself is copyright infringement and against our terms. This also applies to sharing with those within your group trip. You may look at suggested options and recommendations with your group, however sharing the entire document is prohibited. We advise the person booking the service to also be the “point person” of their private trip.
  • Do private trip consulting services also apply for domestic travel?
    No, we do not provide domestic destination services, only international. International destinations are locations outside the U.S. Places like USVI, Puerto Rico might be eligible locations, although they are U.S. territories.
  • I don’t know the COVID restrictions or requirements abroad, but I still want to book a service, is that possible?
    We highly recommend you be aware of the entry requirements prior to booking any service. We do not want you to run into any issues while preparing for your trip. You can find the latest requirements and restrictions at your trip destination via Google search engine. The good news is that the world has opened up more and more since we launched these services in 2022, therefore, any restrictions/ requirements related to COVID-19 are highly unlikely, as of date.
  • Do I need to know my travel dates before booking a private trip service?
    No, you do not need to know your exact travel dates. However, if you know the month you aim to travel, and/or amount of days, this can be helpful information.
  • Although I received the personalized document I wish to book the accommodation and/or activities and excursions myself/ directly, is that possible?
    Yes, you can book everything on your end once we provide the resources and recommendations to you. Sometimes this is a better option when you are travelling with others to make sure you and your party are aligned and book the accommodation and/or activities on your own timing.
  • What If I book one service and decide to change/upgrade to another PTC service?
    Please let us know at the earliest! After 24 hours of booking making a change might not be possible, however if you wish to upgrade email us or text (phone number here) at the earliest so that we may add on to your personalized document. You will receive an online payment access link or invoice from us via email to make payment of the difference and any additional fees if applicable.
  • I have a trip happening in just a few weeks, can I still book a PTC service?
    We recommend booking the service of your choosing for your upcoming trip more than 45 days prior to your first trip date. We might not be able to service you if the request is submitted with less than 45 days until your trip The Itinerary Builder package payment and request must be submitted no less than 45 days prior to your first trip date. We have the right to decline service fulfillment and issue a refund for this service if requested less than 45 days before your trip. ​​ If we accept your "last minute" service request, you may be subject to pay an additional $45 fee. In case we are unable to fulfill your service request, you will be refunded.
  • Do you help with flight booking or other components?
    You are responsible for booking your flight, travel insurance, travel documentation (i.e. visa), vaccination requirement, and anything else not included in your chosen private trip service package. You can however use your optional consultation call for guidance in regard to these elements stated to make the process even easier! Please email info@lizdesirtravelgroup.com as soon as you book a service of your choosing to schedule a consultation call and assist you with other components.
  • Until when can I access my personalized document once received?
    Once you receive the document, it is all yours! You can access it and the links provided for a lifetime (as long as the links are still valid, based on third-party functionality). If this changes, or you have limited access, we will inform you.
  • Are Private Trip Consulting services refundable?
    Private Trip Consulting services are only refundable within 24 hours of booking. Any refund request after the 24-hour mark will not be accepted under any circumstances. We highly encourage you to be certain of booking the service prior to doing so. In case we are unable to fulfill the service request, or you are deemed ineligible, we will refund you the full amount paid. Please note, refund request might exclude charges taxes and fees as we do not hold those fees.
  • I wasn't able to find the answer I'm looking for regarding private trip consulting services, who do I reach out to about my inquiry?
